HOW ITS WORKS:  
Follow all the instructor instructions and syllabus.  If you have any questions regarding the assignments or how it works please contact the instructor.  The course have 4 modules or sections in total.  The course begins with module 1 and works progressively to module 4.  Section 1 (Module) Begins on: February 26, 2014 and will be providing on this same platform.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Applied Science and International Business Management Course Workshop is course develop for students to receive hands on experience on certain business concepts and business etiquette and attire for their professional development in the internationally arena.  Student at the end of the course will learned public speaking and how to develop and present a cover letter, resume, marketing plan, and business plan.  In addition, students will learn the art of marketing people, products and services in the 21st century information technology management and globalization era.  Students will study social issues and current events, case studies in the international business organizations and how it affects their local and professional environments and careers.   Students will have to develop a mock or real company or project and applied the concepts and techniques learn and acquired in the duration of the course.  Students will receive a certification of completion on behalf of the instructor when successfully achieve a satisfactory passing grade. 

The goals of this course are:

  • To teach students the importance of business strategies, ethics and hands on experience on their field of interest.
  • To teach the students to become lifelong learners of their field of interest.
  • To teach students that to be able to become a master on a specific field one must teach the subject.   
  • To teach students to properly use globalization, information technology management, business management strategies, networking tools and innovation to become successful professional in their field of interest.
  • To teach students to become innovative social strategic auditors scientist in their field of interest.
  • To teach students organization skills, time management and business strategies.
  • To teach students to be active participant in their society, education and professional field.
  • To teach students to applied breadth, depth and application stategic research in their personal and professional life.

Course learning methodologies:

Students will study the specific text books, video commercials from the Super Ball, top Fortune 500 companies TV and internet commercials, companies marketing and business plans, non profits and profits organizations website products and services and case studies from US Securities and Exchange Commission and other sources.

Students have to read the course text books, watch the assign videos, write academic journals and research papers, develop short film videos in English and develop foreign culinary art.  The student will also have take quiz and exams to be able to pass and acquire the specific knowledge and techniques of the subjects in the course.

PLAGIARISM POLICY:
Plagiarism is defined as submitting as one’s own work, irrespective of intent to deceive, that which derives in part or in its entirety from the work of others without due acknowledgment. It is both poor scholarship and a breach of academic integrity.

Examples of plagiarism include copying (using another person’s language and/or ideas as if they are your own), by:

  • ·        quoting verbatim another person’s work without due acknowledgment of the source;
  • ·        paraphrasing another person’s work by changing some of the words, or the order of the words, without due acknowledgment of the source;
  • ·        using ideas taken from someone else without reference to the originator;
  • ·        cutting and pasting from the Internet to make a pastiche of online sources;
  • ·        submitting someone else’s work as part of your own without identifying clearly who did the work. For example, buying or commissioning the work via professional agencies such as ‘essay banks’ or ‘paper mills’, or not attributing research contributed by others to a joint project.

Plagiarism might also arise from colluding with another person, including another student, other than as permitted for joint project work (i.e. where collaboration is concealed or has been forbidden). You should include a general acknowledgment where you have received substantial help, for example with the language and style of a piece of written work.

Plagiarism can occur in respect to all types of sources and media:

  • ·        text, illustrations, musical quotations, mathematical derivations, computer code, etc.;
  • ·        material downloaded from websites or drawn from manuscripts or other media;
  • ·        published and unpublished material, including lecture handouts and other students’ work.
  • All sources must be fully referenced.

If other people’s ideas are used, they must be acknowledged. Quotation marks must be used to cite the words of others, whether written or spoken, and a footnote or reference (see below) should be added, in the assignment text, to accompany the quotation and indicate from where it is taken. If an idea generated by someone else is cited, it should be referenced in the same way. Similarly, if an illustration is included from another source, or someone else’s data is included in a graph or table, the source must be acknowledged. If information is obtained and used from a web source on the internet, the source must be referenced.
Students must reference their own pre-existing work in the same way as you would if it were sourced from another author.
